Fuji Tahoe 1.5 : We’ve been waiting for this bike for years. It’s easy enough to find a sub $1500 mountain bike, but sub $1500 with a solid 1x drivetrain gets a little more difficult; add in a Rock Shox Judy fork with a remote lock-out and things get more difficult still; add in slack geometry with wide bars for the best balance between cross country and trail geometry – and you’re left with just one bike, the Fuji Tahoe
Under the radar: While the quality of the groupset is self evident, it’s really the geometry which sets this bike apart. Search long enough and you might find a bike with similar parts spec, but you’re not going to find one that will handle with so much aplomb on such a variety of terrain. The fuji Tahoe is available in several component specs in both 29″ and 27.5″ wheels.
The Bottom Line: Finally a bike with pro geometry at an entry level price.
